Mission Statement
The Royal Canadian Air Force Association is a national aerospace and community service organization established to commemorate the noble achievements of the men and women who have served as members of Canada’s air force since its inception. The RCAF Association is an advocate of a strong, versatile and modern air force which will adapt and innovate to ensure the security of Canada and its citizens.
Guiding Principles
The Association shall be democratic, non-sectarian and shall not be affiliated or connected directly or indirectly with any political party or organization.
The Association shall stand for loyalty to the reigning sovereign and the principles of democratic and ordered government, for a national and united spirit, and for strong and united comradeship among all who have served in military or civil aviation.
The Association shall be an all-ranks organization insofar as its military or ex-military members are concerned and no member shall be entitled to precedence for any reason other than by virtue of elected standing in the Association.

Our Stakeholders
The RCAFA works hand-in-hand with veterans, serving members, government partners, and community organizations to support Canada’s Air Force and preserve its legacy. Together, we strengthen our community, honor those who serve, and ensure the Air Force’s history and contributions are remembered.
The strength of the RCAFA comes from the collaborative efforts of our diverse stakeholders. Each plays a vital role in supporting Canada’s Air Force, preserving its history, and building a thriving community for veterans and aviation enthusiasts.
Veterans and Serving Members
Our members form the backbone of the RCAFA. Veterans provide insight, experience, and leadership, while serving members connect us to the current Air Force community. Together, they help maintain traditions, mentor the next generation, and share stories that keep our history alive.
Government and Military Partners
We work closely with federal and provincial agencies, as well as the Canadian Armed Forces, to advocate for Air Force personnel, support programs for veterans, and participate in commemorative initiatives. These partnerships ensure that RCAFA’s work aligns with national priorities and delivers meaningful impact.
Community Organizations and Associations
Through collaboration with local organizations, youth groups, and educational institutions, we promote awareness of Air Force heritage, foster leadership, and encourage community engagement. These partnerships help expand our reach and amplify our mission.
Supporters and Donors
Individuals, businesses, and foundations that contribute their time, expertise, or resources are essential to our success. Their generosity enables RCAFA to fund programs, events, scholarships, and initiatives that benefit our members and the broader Air Force community.
