422 Wing Museum Project

The city of North Bay and 22 Wing North Bay are planning to create an Aerospace Museum, in North Bay, to ensure the preservation of NORAD, ADC, Fighter Group (which disbanded here last month) and ADC Fighter Squadron artifacts.

422 RCAF (Nipissing) Wing, AFAC, has been invited to help sponsor the Museum and spearhead the fund raising campaign. We are arranging for a lottery License, with the help of City Hall, and expect to be selling Nevada tickets at the North Bay Heritage festival 1-4 August, 1997. All proceeds will go to the Museum.

We must first establish a Lottery bank account and I an enclosing three donations to the RCAFA Trust, designated for the 422 Wing Museum Project. Please issue a cheque from the Trust, in the amount of $350 to the treasurer of 422 Wing.
