In the late 1980s, the RCAF Association Trust Fund participated in this project, with some key fundraising accomplishments occurring as follows:
14th September 1989
Enclosed is an RCAF Association Trust Fund cheque to the value of $1,800 as remainder of funds collected for the restoration of the Battle of Britain Lace.
29th November 1989
The Chairman stated that a total sum in the amount of $7734.70 had been collected for the Battle of Britain Lace Project. $6000 was donated to the Lace Project.
