your.name@airforce.ca E-mail Configuration

The RCAF Association owns the domain name   airforce.ca

If you would like to have an airforce.ca e-mail address   ( your.name@airforce.ca ) write to contact@airforce.ca and request one. We will be pleased to set one up for you, for a nominal one-time fee.

The airforce.ca e-mail address is free to Honorary and Regular Life Members, and $10 (one-time fee) for all others.

To configure your e-mail address, please visit this link, here, for additional instructions.

To change the original password issued to you, to one of your own choosing, you cannot do so from the Mailbox application itself. For changes to your password you must visit the following website  https://mailboxes.dreamhost.com  and log in using your original password. Thereafter, the next screen will provide you the opportunity to select a new password of your own choosing.

We have discovered a curious issue with the reset password link process, and we have learned how to make it work. When you request a reset password, and you receive an e-mail with a link (just like the one below) DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK.

Since the link is only good for one (1) use, if you click on it, that counts as one (1) use. Thereafter, it no longer works. Instead of clicking on the link, you must copy and paste it into your address bar. Here are the steps to follow:

  • Select “forgot password;”
  • Wait for e-mail to come in;
  • Open e-mail when it comes, and hover your mouse over the reset password link, and with a “right-click” copy the link (to your clipboard);
  • Then open a new webpage, place your cursor in the address bar and “right-click” and select “Paste and go…”
  • This will take you to the appropriate page, and you will be able to reset your password.

In the event of any problems please contact Dean Black, the Executive Director at 613-612-7223 or (toll-free) 866-351-2322 or write to him at contact@airforce.ca

As with all other e-mail service providers we also receive occasional attempts to infiltrate our system. If you receive an e-mail “Notification” asking you to upgrade your mailbox, or any other sort of request – DO NOT OPEN THE E-MAIL – DO NOT CLICK ON ANY OF THE LINKS.

If ever you are unsure, you only need to hover your mouse over a suspicious link – if the pop-up text is different from the text in the link over which you are hovering, then that means trouble. DELETE THE E-MAIL IMMEDIATELY.
