US Air Force Brigadier-General Patrick J. Cord, NORAD J3 Deputy Director of Operations (L) and Major-General Marcel Duval, Commander 1 Canadian Air Division, accept the North American Aerospace Defence Award, the Air Force Association of Canadas newest trophy, on behalf of United States and Canadian Forces personnel serving in NORAD on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its creation in 1958. BGen Cord is accepting the trophy of behalf of General Victor E. Renuart Jr. Commander Northern American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command from Lieutenant-General Angus Watt, Chief of the Air Staff (Far right) and Mr. John E. Melbourne, National President of the AFAC (far left).
