WILLIAM BENJAMIN S/L(P) J15486. From New Richmond Station, Bonaventure County, Quebec. Killed in Action Jun 13/44 age 22. #408 Goose Squadron (For Freedom). Lancaster aircraft #DS 726 did not return from night operations to Cambrai, France. P/O R.D. Ochsner, FO. G.E. Mallory, WO H.F. Murphy, P/Os J. Bray (RAF), and N. Val-ley (RAF) were also killed. Two Canadians, F/O Burns and P/O J.M. Lapierre were taken Prisoners of War. Squadron Leader Pilot Stewart is buried in the Military Cemetery, Forenville, Nord, France.

WILLIAM HENRY FS(AG) R113188. From Nordegg, Alberta. Killed Jan 11/43 age 30. #81 Operational Training Unit. Whitley aircraft #LA 766 crashed into a hill in a severe storm near Bungaloiomamed, Monterey, Bulchgyn, Wales. WO D.R. Roberts and six of the crew, not Canadians, were also killed. Flight Sergeant Air Gunner Stewart is buried in the Wrexham Cemetery, Denbighshire, Wales.

FS.s V.A. Cleveland, and D.H. Garland, were also killed. P/O. S. James (RCAF), Sgt.s L. Northcliffe (RCAF), A. Embley (RAF), and H.R Tenny (RAF) were taken Prisoners Of War.
